Privacy policy
How Aykan collects, uses and protects information. Last updated: October 2026.
Aykan (“we”, “us”) is a product of Plant 2 Tree. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit aykan.in or use the Aykan billing app at billing.aykan.in.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, business name, email, mobile number, state, GSTIN and address that you enter when signing up or in Settings.
- Business records: the items, customers, bills, payments and stock records you create in Aykan.
- Usage information: basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the service secure and working.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or through our contact form.
How we use it
- To provide the Aykan service: create bills, keep stock, prepare reports and show your data to the people you allow.
- To manage your plan, renewals and support requests.
- To protect accounts, for example by limiting repeated failed sign-ins.
- To improve Aykan. We do not sell your data or your customers’ data.
Your customers' information
Customer names, phone numbers and GSTINs that you store in Aykan belong to your business. We process them only to provide the service to you. Shared bill links are hard to guess and show only that one bill.
Security and storage
Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and each business can see only its own records. Passwords are stored in hashed form. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and give staff only the access they need.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your records while your account exists, including after a plan ends, so you can view and download them. To close your account and delete your data, email service@aykan.in. Some records may be kept where the law requires.
Cookies
The website may use cookies for basic functions and, with your consent, for analytics. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in the cookie banner. The billing app stores your sign-in on your device so you stay signed in.
